About Us
Literatim, meaning “to the letter”, Legal Services saw its foundation during the latter stages of 2006 with the principal objective of providing cost-effective and legally compliant business contracts and trusts, tailor-made to the client’s needs and requirements. Over time, this objective has expanded, but underlying the business philosophy is still that of providing quality service levels to ensure and maintain an optimised and professional relationship as well as prompt response to client requirements and needs.
Literatim Legal Services (Pty) Ltd offers dedicated and holistic legal and fiduciary services including professional independent Trustee services and Trust administration of Court Order Trusts and Family Business Trusts, Curatorships, estate structuring, wills, administration of deceased estates, agreements and contracts.

Mari is a co-founder of Literatim Legal and, after being admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2004, commenced her career in the financial services industry. She is a trusted adviser on financial planning themes covering estates, trusts, tax, investments and business enterprises and regularly acts as professional independent trustee on family business and court order trusts. Mari is skilled in managing and administering funds to the best benefit of persons who does not have the capacity to do so for themselves and has a vast knowledge of the financial and fiduciary services industry with a specific focus on legislation relating to financial planning , trusts and curatorships. Mari is a Certified Financial Planner®, Fiduciary Practitioner of South Africa® and a proud member of the Pretoria Fiduciary Forum. She is passionate about travelling, camping, photography and reading.

Catherine is a director and shareholder of Literatim Legal Services. She was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa in respectively 2008 and 2009. She has extensive experience in conveyancing matters and has advised on a range of property transactions as well as corporate law matters. Catherine is skilled to perform fiduciary duties and a trusted adviser on the practicalities of setting up, maintaining and deregistering trusts. Catherine acts as a professional Trustee in court order and special trusts and has vast knowledge of the nature of the South African trust system and how it is applied and administered by the Master of the High Court. Catherine lectures from time to time on the subject of Social Dimensions of Justice and Constitutional Development with the University of South Africa. She holds the designation of Fiduciary Practitioner of South Africa®, is a member of FISA and the Pretoria Fiduciary Legal Forum. Catherine and her husband, the senior Pastor of a congregation in Centurion, are passionate about ministry and are raising two robust boys.

Faith is a Legal and Fiduciary Consultant with Literatim Legal Services. She undergone practical vocational training as a candidate legal practitioner with a reputable law firm in Pretoria where she gained valuable experience in general litigation before being admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2022. She is a skilled in drafting antenuptial agreements, wills, trust deeds and contracts and has a vast knowledge of practicalities of estate and trust administration. Faith is a candidate member of the Fiduciary Institute of South Africa, currently studying towards obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Estate and Trust Administration and passionate about social justice and advancing her career in the fiduciary industry.
